 The  City of Fountain Valley affords you and your family over 150 acres of  neighborhood parks, activity buildings, and athletic facilities. Have a  picnic, play at your neighborhood park, or simply enjoy a walk on one of  the many scenic trails in our city. They encourage you and your  families to enjoy these city amenities and create lasting memories with  your loved ones. Reminder, Bounce houses are not permitted in any  Fountain Valley city operated parks. However, they are allowed on the  county side of Mile Square Park.
​The Fountain Valley Recreation Center and Sports Park is a multipurpose recreational facility manager by the Recreation and Community Services Division.​This building contains:

​Fountain Valley Tennis Center.  The Fountain Valley Tennis Center is a 12 court Public Tennis venue  owned by the City of Fountain Valley and operated by Recreational  Management Services, Inc.Donald Alger is the President and the USPTA  Professional and the Director of Tennis. Russell Alger is the Head Pro  and director of programming. Melinda Alger is Admistrator of operations  at the Tennis Center.Under the management of Donald Alger, the center  offers a variety of programs and tools to help you learn how to play, to  challenge those who know how to play, and to assist those who just want  to get out and exercise.​
